RED BULL MUSIC ACADEMY / HELLO AMBASSADOR COLAB

 

The Red Bull Music Academy is a global music institution committed to fostering creativity in music. Hello Ambassador is a CreateSA passion project consisting of an annual Creative Festival, aimed at promoting local and emerging creative talent.

 

From 2013 - 2016, the festival consisted of a 3-day event in Gauteng, featuring a conference, workshops, VIP events, awards, an expo, street festival and after party. In 2016, we collaborated with Red Bull Music Academy to present the Red Bull Couch Sessions with DJ Black Coffee and Culoe De Song, as well as an After Party featuring AKA, Manthe Ribane, Patoranking and international act Fat Freddy's Drop.

 

Our involvement with this project included:

• Creative direction and strategic development of brand identity and marketing campaigns

• Ideation (conceptual development) and content production (copywriting, design and video production)

• Curation and execution of campaign elements

• Sponsorship procurement, budgeting and financial management

• Project management and event coordination 

• Researching and analysing market trends and new technologies

• Networking and relationship building
