HELLO AMBASSADOR 2013 - 2016

 

Hello Ambassador is a CreateSA passion project in the form of an annual Creative Festival, aimed at promoting local and emerging creative talent. The festival consists of a 3-day event, featuring a conference, workshops, VIP events, awards, an expo, street festival and after party. 

 

Often described as a less commercial, more affordable version of the Design Indaba, Hello Ambassador prides itself in the fact that its main focus is on promoting local creative talent. Each event features a mix of celebrities, influencers, industry experts and young emerging talent, providing creatives with an accessible platform to network, collaborate, gain experience, exposure and inspiration.

 

Over the years, Hello Ambassador has featured talks and workshops by various influencers and industry celebrities including DJ Black Coffee, Maps Maponyane, Trevor Stuurman, Lauren Beukes, Robert Brosin (Nando’s founder), Tumi Molekane, Alister King, Michelle Constant and many others.

SOCIAL MEDIA, INFLUENCER AND PR CAMPAIGNS

 

In order to promote these events and due to limited marketing budgets, we relied heavily on clever influencer, PR and Social Media campaigns each year to create maximum awareness and to increase ticket sales. CreateSA was responsible for all communications, content creation and campaign implementation, and some of the key deliverables included:

• Creative direction and strategic development of brand identity and marketing campaigns

• Ideation and production of all social media, print and digital campaign elements, including copywriting, design, animation and video production

• Curation and execution of all campaign elements

• Development and implementation of Social Media strategies, content plans and paid campaigns

• Community management and reporting

• Influencer campaign development and management

• PR and media invitations, press releases, management and hosting at event
