LEVI’S® | DIY SKATE JAM

 

As a follow on project from the initial Levi’s® build at the legendary Skateworld Edenvale, ANDPEOPLE did a low fi DIY jam. Working with Levi’s® Skateboarding ambassador Jonathan Pinkhard, a competition was help for the locals and hosted by the greater Joburg skate community. As part of the ANDPEOPLE team, I was involved with the curation and project management for this event which included an amateur competition and smaller flash jams throughout the day. Some new ramps were built by the locals and partners Red Bull, adidas Skateboarding, La Farge Cement, and Plankie skateboards, a contributed towards prizes and production costs.
